Urban Decay - Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette Review ♡

Hello makeup lovers! It's been awhile since I've tried anything new from Urban Decay and I'm super excited to share my little review of the Naked Honey eyeshadow palette! This eyeshadow palette has beautiful golden neutral and classic gold shades perfect for the upcoming holidays. This palette currently retails for $49 and you can buy it on Urban Decays website or at Sephora.com and/or Ulta.com.

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

Here is the inside of the palette! This palette comes with one satin shade, six matte shades, four shimmery shades, and one intense metallic shade and a double ended eye brush that you can use to smudge and blend out and a mirror so you can take this beautiful palette on the go.

Flyby - An ivory satin shade.
Sweet - A neutral beige matte shade.
Swarm - A soft mustard matte shade.
Amber - A metallic shimmery copper shade.
Keeper - A mustard brown matte shade.
Golden - A rich gold shimmer shade.
Honey - An intense gold metallic shade.
Queen - A golden brown shimmer shade.
Hive - A warm matte brown shade.
Drip - A warm reddish-brown matte shade.
HBIC - A rosy bronze shimmer shade.
Sting - A deep warm brown matte shade.

♡ Here are the swatches! I just love the shimmery metallic gold shades! I was able to make a gold look blending out Sweet and Swarm in my crease, applying Honey over the base of my lid and Golden on outer corner of my base lid, deepened the crease with Sting to add dimension and finishing off the look with Flyby in my inner corner and brow bone. The matte shades were easy to blend out and I had no issues adding the metallic/shimmer shades with either my finger or a dense brush. When wearing Honey and Golden on my eye my boyfriend was amazed and said my eyes looked so golden and bright and was impressed by the pigment.

♡ Overall, I'm super impressed and pleased with this palette! I love how you can make a beautiful neutral gold shade for the every day or for a fun night out on the town! Each shade is rich and pigmented and easy to work with as well. If you're for your go to neutral and gold eyeshadow palette then look no further cause I would definitely recommend this eyeshadow palette.

♡ Urban Decay Shadow Box Palette Review

Hi guys! Here is a little review of the super cute Urban Decay Shadow Box palette that is currently available and on sale at Ulta.com for only $18!

I really adore the packaging and design on this palette! It is an average small palette which I don't mind since it's on sale for only $18 and it'll be great for travel.

And here is the swatch of the shadows in the palette! Most of the shadows are shimmery besides the Blackout which is a matte black shade. These shadows felt velvety and smooth and fairly pigmented. Blackout actually was a little more pigmented than I thought it would be! When using with a brush there was barely any kick back and little fallout. Blackout and the shimmer shades were easy to blend on the eye and I didn't have to put in much work to get the smokey look I was going for! My favorite shades in this palette are Sin, Smog, and Baked Cowboy!

Overall I was happy with this palette and I think this is good palette to get if you're looking for a little palette with beautiful neutral shades but also has those fun colors that pop!

♡ Urban Decay Jean-Michel Basquiat Eyeshadow & Blush Palette Review

Hello! I snagged these two awesome palettes that were on sale on Ulta.com and thought I would do a little review of them! These two palettes are from the Urban Decay Jean-Michael Basquiat collection! When this collection first came out I set my alarm for midnight so I could purchase the Vault box but unfortunately I set my alarm for 12PM instead of 12AM and by the time I woke up the Vault collection was sold out. But I am very fortunate to get the two palettes from the collection that I really wanted since the beginning! I thought I would review and share my thoughts before they sell out for good! Jean-Michel Basquiat was such an amazing graffiti artist and a true pioneer of the neo-expressionist movement. He quickly rose to fame in the 80's art scene in NYC and his iconic paintings are still exhibited all over the world!

This the Gold Griot Eyeshadow Palette! This palette is more of a neutral shade palette and features eight new eyeshadows based on Basquiat's paintings. I love the packaging of this palette and the Basquiat artwork featured on it!

Here are the swatches from the eyeshadow palette! The eyeshadows felt very smooth, velvety, and are very pigmented. I've heard that pigmentation with UD eyeshadows can be hit or miss but this palette definitely did not disappoint me! My favorite shades from this palette are Influence and Crown.

This is the Basquiat Gallery Blush Palette! This blush palette features two blushes, one bronzer, and one highlighter based on Basquiat's paintings! I love the packaging on this palette as well and the crown artwork featured on it!

Here are the swatches from the palette! The blushes also felt very smooth, velvety, and are very pigmented as well. These shades would look great on any skin tone and are made with the long-lasting Afterglow formula which gives them 8 hours of wear! My favorite shades from this blush palette are X-Rated and Now's The Time! Jawbone is definitely more of a warm toned bronzer and Noho is just a little too dark for my taste.

Another thing that I love about these palettes is that they have a cutout on the back so you can hang them up like artwork! Probably the cutest idea ever!

Overall, I'm very impressed with these palettes and their pigmentation of the eyeshadows and blushes. I'm so happy that UD came out with the collection and bringing light back to such an amazing artist like Basquiat and I hope one day in the future they'll release the whole collection again! I would definitely recommend scooping these palettes up before they are gone for good!

♡ Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette Review

Hey guys! I got my hands on the much hyped up Urban Decay Naked Heat eyeshadow palette! This is honestly my first ever Naked palette from Urban Decay and I'm so excited to review it for you guys! The warm beautiful warm tone colors is the reason why I wanted this palette so badly and it's just so perfect for summer! The Naked Heat Palette will retail for $54 and doesn't officially launch until June 30th on the official Urban Decay website. Sephora launches the Naked Heat Palette online on July 10th and in stores on July 13th.

I love the packaging of this palette so much!

I'm really happy about adding in the close up of the pans for this review! I think the names are cute and this palette comes with it's own brush from which I heard are actually really good brushes to use!

 ♡

Here are the swatches of the eyeshadows! In the palette you get 7 matte shades and 5 shimmery shades. The shadows felt very creamy, soft, and had little kickback. I've heard of different opinions about the pigmentation of the shadows but I think they are very pigmented! The only shadow that seemed patchy to me was Ashes but other than that I'm very impressed with quality and pigmentation. My favorite colors from this palette is Lumber, Dirty Talk, and Scorched! Overall if you're an Urban Decay Naked lover or want a cute warm toned palette for summer I would definitely recommend this palette and I definitely think its worth $54!
