♡ Too Faced White Chocolate Bar Palette Review

Hello everyone! I'm super excited to share this little review of the Too Faced White Chocolate Bar palette! This palette has been out for a little while now for the holidays and I'm finally decided to purchase it when it went on sale on TooFaced.com. This palette is the bigger version of the Too Faced Chocolate Chip palette and has 5 new shades that didn't come with the Chocolate Chip palette. The White Chocolate Bar palette retails for $49.

I love the white simple, sleek, chocolate bar packaging with cute pink and gold writing!

Here is some details about the palette on the back of the box!

Here is a look at the inside of the palette and the 16 cocoa-infused eyeshadow shades! I love how it comes with two base shades that are in the bigger pans. And of course the palette smells just like cocoa/chocolate!

Here a close look at the eyeshadows in their pans!

Mint Chocolate - A light green with cool undertones and matte finish.
Glaze - A pale beige with a matte finish.
Pearl Candy - A bright white with a metallic sheen.
Raspberry Rose - A light pink with a golden, pearly sheen.
Indulge - A light, golden pewter with a frosted sheen.
Frosted Apricot - A pink-coral with warm undertones and matte finish.
Cookie Dough - A medium brown with a matte finish and with flecks of gold.
Sugared Raisin - A light mauve with a sparkling finish.

Cake Batter - A light peachy-orange with a matte finish.
Exotica - A light, golden peach with a frosted sheen.
Chocolate Syrup - A muted, medium mauve with warmer undertones and matte finish.
Lavender Cake - A light lavender with cool undertones and matte finish.
Guilt-Free - A light taupe with cool undertones and matte finish.
Smoked Sea Salt - A dark taupe brown with a matte finish.
Black Sugar - A medium black with faint sparkles over a matte finish.
Banana Date - A light beige with a warm yellow undertone and matte finish.

Here is the swatches of all the eyeshadows! I'm kind of on the fence about this palette. The pastel matte shades like Mint Chocolate and Lavender cake applied on sheer. Even Smoked Sea Salt and Chocolate Syrup didn't seem very opaque when swatched. Black Sugar was applied kind of sheer which didn't surprise me since Too Faced has never had a solid opaque and highly pigmented black in their eyeshadow palettes. The matte shadows are just chalky, apply sheer, and are dry. The sparkly, pearly shades applied as expected and worked as expected with primer. Glaze and Banana date worked okay as base shades worked as expected. Cake Batter and Cookie Dough blended well in my crease area and I really liked blending Chocolate Syrup in my crease for more definition. Overall, this palette it okay but I'm not super in love with this palette. I definitely feel like Too Faced could've improved the formula more on the matte shadows and tried more with this palette. I wouldn't fully recommend this palette, it's something you would have to try for yourself and I would definitely recommend buying this palette from Sephora that way you can return it if you don't like it or try to check out a display palette in stores before you buy!
